Job Title: Engineering Team Lead
Location: Stockton-on-Tees
Salary: £48,000 – £50,000
Shift: Monday to Friday (3-shift rotation)
Benefits: 33 Days Holiday, 6% Matched Pension and Enhanced Sick Pay
About the Role:
I am working with a leading food manufacturer who are looking for a skilled Engineering Team Leader to join their engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all aspects of hands-on maintenance, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance, as well as some lead/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities:
• Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance on all plant and equipment.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and troubleshoot problems.
• Carry out repairs to equipment and test repairs.
• Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
• Time Served Apprenticeship in Engineering
• Ideally 1+ years of supervisory/leading experience, however food experienced maintenance engineers with some stand-in team lead experience may be considered
• Experience working within manufacturing, and food is desirable.
• Strong understanding of all aspects of maintenance, including preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
• Experience working with a variety of manufacturing equipment both electrically and mechanically.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
