Role Description:

We are currently seeking an accomplished General Managerr to join our dynamic manufacturing client's team with the responsibility to look after their largest site. As the General Manager, working with the SLT team, reporting into the Operations Director, you will be responsible for leading operational functions across the site, directing strategies, planning, delivery, and reporting all core operational capability.The General Manager will work closely increase site performance, operational efficiency, cost control and yield.

Location: Cambridgeshire

Working Hours: Monday to Friday day shift.

Salary and Benefits:
– Up to £80,000
– £6,000 car allowance.

Essential Experience

• Excellent leadership and people skills are essential. We want someone with a positive attitude and energetic
• Experience getting buy-in from teams to improve engagement and involvement levels.
• Able to motivate and drive teams for success.
• Coaching style of management with direct line reports, coaching teams in how to meet goals.
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to challenge robustly.
• Ability to develop operational strategies and prioritise effectively.
• Ability to report on metrics, KPIs and frameworks.
• At least 5 years previous experience in a large scale FMCG organisation in a Site Management role.
• Accountability of Health and Safety in a previous role.
• Experience of leading seasonal/agency staff.
