A grower and packager of fresh food products supplying to major retailers across the UK.
The Role
The Company are seeking an Assistant Accountant to fit into the close-knit finance team reporting into the Finance Director. The role is site based at their office. Your duties will include:
• Processing sales & purchase invoices
• Producing weekly sales reports
• Liaising with the sales department, customers, and suppliers as required
• Bank account and credit card reconciliation
• Assisting other team members with wider finance duties such as month end reports, year end reports and payroll
Your Skills & Experience
To be considered as the new Assistant Accountant you will need:
• AAT lv 2 or above
• At least one year experience within accounting/finance
• Knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Enthusiastic and keen to learn
• Knowledge of sage payroll
• Knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Excel, Word, etc.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced busy office environment
