Commercial Manager – Fine Foods Supplier into Independent Retail
The Company
This company is a growing, strong performing food business, they are renowned for supplying the highest quality products and work closely with independent retailers – enhancing the distribution and exposure of many high quality products. They are looking for a driven and proactive Commercial Manager who has experience selling into independent retails, farm shops etc.
The Role
The focus of your role will be to work with the Head of Sales to optimise existing customer accounts, identifying opportunities to expand into new channels and providing insights to continually improve efficiencies and procedures within the sales team and supply chain.

• Experience within a Fine Foods business
• Success with independent retailers, farm shops etc.
• Understand the commercial process relating to the sourcing and supply of Food and Drink products
• Knowledge of regional Food and Drink Suppliers and Producers based within the UK
• Awareness of Supply Chain strategy, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity
Your Skills & Experience
• Business Development/Account Management experience within the food industry is essential, either in food service, hospitality or food manufacturing.
• Proactive, resilient and with a strong result orientated attitude.
• Excellent presentation skills with good customer engagement.
• Proactive in developing a strong internal and external network
