Salary:
£40K-£44K DoE (overtime available on weekends)
Shift:
Monday to Friday (8am to 5pm) however, there is flexibility available.
Key Responsibilities:
•Maintenance and repair of a range of machinery.
•Incorporating excellent relations with external contractors
•Comply with health and safety and food safety legislation
•Ensuring where possible production is not impacted and liaise with production for planned maintenance
•Preventative maintenance of machinery.
•On call support
•Carry out any special projects as required by management team
•Maintenance of records for repairs, breakdowns, installations etc.
•Responsible for ensuring all engineering contractors wear PPE
•Support with all customer, regulatory or accreditation body enquiries, site visits and audits
An ideal candidate should have/preferrable have:
•Experience of electrical and mechanical plants
•Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
•Experience of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and installation of motors, VFD’s and PLC’s
•Apprenticeship or equivalent formal training programme in installation and maintenance that includes practical experience
•Experience with food process and packing equipment would be an advantage.
