A renowned and reputable food manufacturing company are seeking a multi skilled engineer/ maintenance engineer with an electrical bias to join their team.

Basic Overview:
Title: Multi Skilled Engineer (electrical bias)
Salary: £46K
Shift: 4 on/4 off shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights (running 8-8)
Location: County of Perthshire

What You’ll be doing:
•Design and optimization of manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
•To carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment as per maintenance schedules issued on a weekly basis.
•To carry out start up procedures on all essential plant and equipment.
•Hands-on work with cutting-edge machinery and technology.
•Troubleshooting and problem-solving to ensure smooth production operations.
•Continuous collaboration with team members to solve and diagnose faults
An ideal candidate should have/preferably have:
•Experience of electrical and mechanical plants
•Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
•Fully qualified Electrician with 17th Edition/ Maintenance / Service Engineering with a nationally recognised qualification (experience will NOT be sufficient instead of formal qualifications) such as Craft Apprenticeship – NVQ Electrical / Mechanical.
•Experience of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and installation of motors, VFD’s and PLC’s
•Apprenticeship or equivalent formal training programme in installation and maintenance that includes practical experience.
•Experience with food process and packing equipment would be an advantage.
