Head of Production
Reports To: MD
Salary: Negotiable based on experience + Relocation Package
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Location – Isle of Mull
This is a very rare opportunity to move to one of the most beautiful and desirable locations in Scotland. Mull is a tourist hot spot with good reason. About the Role
We have just one production line, that we operate over two shifts five days per week (6-2 and 2 – 10). There are around 12 staff on each shift.
We’re looking for a Head of Production to take responsibility for everything production-related, aided by our Assistant Production Manager, and working alongside our Technical and Engineering managers.
Key Responsibilities
• Staff management – Assigning roles, training, succession planning etc
• Quality and waste management
• Process management
• Continuous improvement of process, equipment and people
• Optimization of efficiency and productivity
• Health and Safety
• People skills are essential – someone who gains respect by being capable, supportive and friendly.
• Lead by example, and be prepared to get hands-on with any job small or large.
