Job Function

To lead sales and relationships with key customers, deliver target volumes and ranges, and grow our business while supporting the achievement of strategic goals.

Main Responsibilities
:

Sales Target Delivery: Oversee the achievement of the business' sales targets across all key accounts.

Strategic Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strategic relationships with major customers, executing and delivering a comprehensive Joint Business Plan (JBP) while maintaining a strong strategic position.

Demand Forecast Oversight: Lead the management of demand forecasts for all accounts, ensuring product availability in collaboration with purchasing and supply teams.

Customer Insights and Strategy: Analyze customer insights and feedback to inform business strategies and implement performance improvement plans.

Data Management: Ensure the accuracy and maintenance of customer knowledge data

Annual Business Plan Leadership: Lead the negotiation of annual business plans with key customer contacts, supporting plan implementation and addressing corrective actions as needed.

Performance Evaluation and Improvement: Regularly monitor and evaluate performance reviews against customer expectations and key account KPIs.

Budget and Profit Plan Management: Develop and manage the annual budget and profit business plans.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company and legislative requirements, including food safety and health & safety regulations.

Team Leadership and Development: Maximize team performance, efficiency, and service levels while driving employee engagement.

Develop a future-fit skill set and flexibility within the team, fostering results-focused relationships.

Trainee Development: Support the development of trainees to ensure the growth of the next generation workforce.

The ideal candidate must have experience within Food Manufacturing and preferbaly within red meat, protein or poultry coupled with proven experience dealing with major retailers. If you are based in England or require travel the business would offer accomodation through the week.
