This business have an established H&S culture and environmental matters are very important to them, they already have a number of good initiatives in place and they want someone who can maintain this good culture and continue to innovate and strive for better.

The Operations Director leads from the front on HSE and this role reports to him, management style on site is inclusive and democratic and although the managers will not report to the HSE manager you will lead and influence in that style.

This is a site based in north Cumbria with some flexibility to work from home.

We need experience of HSE in a manufacturing environment for this position.
