D R Newitt are partnered with one of the UK's leading renewable energy installers working on both domestic & commercial properties across the UK providing a full range of renewable energy solutions including battery storage, EV charging and heat pumps.

Due to their recent growth they are looking for an experienced Heat Pump Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced engineer to join this increasingly important sector and work as part of a supportive and growing team as they expand their service & maintenance offer and increase ASHP installations. .

This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in renewable energy and low carbon technologies and gain further experience installing, servicing and maintaining renewable heating systems.

Key responsibilities:
Servicing ASHP and GSHP systems
Fault finding and diagnostics for Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) and Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) systems
Carrying out repairs and maintenance on ASHP and GSHP systems
Installing and commissioning heat pump systems (predominantly ASHP)
Carrying out customer hand overs
Applicant must have good communication and social skills and be happy to work in and lead an installation team
Applicant should be aware that the workplace is not fixed and a driving license is essential (company vehicle provided)

Qualifications & Skills:
Water regs – G3 unvented or equivalent
Driving licence (Essential)
BPEC heat pump or equivalent
Experience of installing heat pump systems
Experience of servicing and carrying our maintenance and repairs on heat pump installations
Health & Safety or First Aid qualifications (Advantageous)
Gas Safe – desirable
