This organisation is passionate about luxury premium food products for their customers which are high-end food establishments across the UK along with prestigious food halls. They are well established with a global presence and are growing rapidly with new facilities and additional experienced head counts.
The Role
The purpose of this position is to work with the HR team to support the business with HR generalist duties, including.
• First point of call for all HR/ER queries, with a focus on shift workers in the warehousing & transport (operations) departments, working collaboratively with the HR team
• Building and maintaining solid relationships with Operations, and employees.
• Manage initial ER issues including Absenteeism, Disciplinaries, and Grievances. Assist and guide managers with decision-making.
• Monitor holidays and overtime as well as set payroll and manage bonuses.
• Understand the business issues and support improvements, priorities and key drivers and ensure that HR influences all key business decisions.
Your Skills & Experience
To be considered for this opportunity you will need.
• Experienced HR professional, with knowledge of employment legislation and CIPD level 3
• Background from the food & drink manufacturing or food & drink distribution industry
• Solid experience with shift workers in warehouse & transport/Operations
• Thorough experience in ER cases such as disciplinaries, grievances, absenteeism, attendance, holidays etc
• Great communicator with sound IT skills and a positive attitude.
• Highly analytical and IT literate
