Are you looking for a role with one of Europe's leading developer owner operators? My client are an international IPP of utility-scale renewable energy projects across Europe looking to add to their UK business unit.
The ideal candidate will have negotiated land acquisitions, heads of terms or lease agreements in the UK for the development of renewable energy projects.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the relationship and be the interface between landowners and the business. This may include site visits to understand the land and build relationships with landowners.
Manage and populate accurately the land book on large projects continuously.
Negotiate exclusivity agreements, Heads of Terms, Options and Leases.
Gain wayleaves/easements and other necessary site specific documentation
Mange acquisitions and the Due Diligence process.
Manage the time and interface of the business with solicitors in relation to projects.
Attend industry and discipline events, webinars and shows
Land evaluation for self-developed, JV and acquired sites with the team.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree within a relevant field relating to real estate, land or renewable energy.
Detailed understanding of legal documentation and process
Good time and project management skills
Good communicator and supportive/collaborative team member
