Job Description:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of their production facilities. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and contributing to the overall reliability and safety of their production lines. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to work within a growing food manufacturer.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting routine maintenance on production machinery to prevent breakdowns.
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
Collaborating with the production team to minimise downtime and optimise machinery performance.
Identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements.
Adhering to health and safety regulations and ensuring a safe working environment.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Participating in training and development programs to stay updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing
A relevant engineering apprenticeship
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
