Job Description

The role:
Support the Blending Manager during day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with GMP and quality standards.
• Responsible for the scale-up of skincare products (creams, toners, lotions, oils) from the R&D laboratory to Blending, working with Formulation Scientists to assess risks.
• Review current Blending processes, identifying and implementing improvements or new technologies in manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Perform change impact assessment and define training plans to support Blending activities.
• Prepare supporting documentation for Blending (specifications, manufacturing instructions, SOPs, etc).
• Working cross-functionally with wider teams including R&D, Production, quality and Warehouse.
• Drive/support root cause analysis should issues arise including ingredient variances and quality.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in science/engineering in relevant discipline.
• Experience in cosmetic products scale-up and/or manufacturing and best practices.
• A thorough understanding of mixing technologies.
• At least 2 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ISO 22716 desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail.
