Project Development Manager – Utility Scale Solar & BESS

D R Newitt are partnered with a Utility scale developer of Solar, Energy storage and Wind projects in the UK. They have a pipeline of over 10GW which continues to grow, in order to support their growth plans they are looking for a Project Development Manager.

In your new role you will be responsible for:

Management of a number of projects from Prospect through to RTB and taking oversight of Legal, Permitting and Grid Connection processes.
Supporting project sales processes, due diligence and funding for project construction.
Working closely to manage direct land searches and land negotiations.
Liaising with external stakeholders i.e. Legal, Consultants, ICPs and Suppliers for negotiate and provide best terms for projects.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

Experience in the development of utility scale Solar and BESS projects in the UK.
Proven experience identifying landowners and land agents in order to agree heads of terms.
Self-motivated and able to manage own workload and clearly communicate progress.
Full UK driving licence.
