Quality Assurance Assistant – Food Manufacturer

Must have food manufacturing experience

playing a vital role in ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves monitoring and analysing processes, implementing quality assurance protocols, and supporting the overall quality management system. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of HACCP principles.

Duties

Conduct regular inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Analyse data and prepare reports on quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Assist in the development and implementation of HACCP plans and quality assurance procedures.
Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits.
Support training initiatives for staff on quality assurance practices and procedures.
Participate in internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Qualifications

Previous experience in a quality assurance role is preferred but not essential.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Familiarity with HACCP principles is advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using standard office software for reporting purposes.
