QA Technician, E&R Yorkshire

Job Description

Position: QA Technician
Location: East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £28,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine quality assurance checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform inspections and tests on production lines to verify product quality and safety.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and other QA activities.
• Collaborate with production staff to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
• Participate in internal audits and support external audit preparations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP and GMP.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in a QA role within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Relevant qualifications in Food Science, Quality Management, or a related field are desirable.
