My client is seeking a proactive HR professional who can align business needs with strategic HR practices to foster high performance. The role requires a blend of hands-on implementation skills and strategic oversight, with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and team development.

The Role
As the new Senior HR Business partner you’ll be working in collaboration with the UK Head of HR and overseeing all HR initiatives for multiple sites across the North of the UK. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of duties, including.
• Collaborate with business leaders to understand objectives, align HR practices, and deliver people-focused solutions that drive performance and support organisational goals.
• Lead HR initiatives across workforce planning, restructuring, talent management, employee relations, and engagement, ensuring efficient project execution and goal achievement.
• Act as a change agent to support organisational development (OD), guide change initiatives, and facilitate team development for enhanced performance and adaptability.
• Provide coaching and practical support to line managers, helping them build strong leadership capabilities and foster a supportive, accountable team culture.
• Ensure HR policies align with legal requirements, manage budgets effectively, and support a cohesive team approach to improve and implement the People Strategy and business plans.
Key Skills & Experience:
• Demonstrated experience as an HR Business Partner or equivalent, capable of working with business leaders to drive HR initiatives aligned with strategic objectives.
• In-depth knowledge across HR functions including employee relations, rewards, resourcing, performance management, learning and development, and legal compliance.
• Skilled in leading organisational changes, including TUPE transfers, restructures, and OD interventions, with a focus on team development and cultural enhancement.
• Strong ability to utilize HR metrics and data for insights to support decision-making and improve performance.
• Proficient in designing and leading group sessions, presenting to diverse audiences, and coaching managers to strengthen leadership capabilities.
• Up-to-date with employment law, industry best practices, and audit processes, ensuring HR policies are compliant and effective.
Qualifications
• Degree or equivalent qualifications (CIPD essential).
• Significant experience in HR within a matrix or multi-site environment, ideally with experience in production settings.
• Strong MS Office and HRIS proficiency, with the ability to manage budgets, control costs, and negotiate with third-party providers effectively.
