Job: Senior New Product Development (NPD) Technologist

Location: North Yorkshire

Salary: TBC

My client are looking for a Senior NPD Technologist to provide high quality development concepts which meet requirements. Managing development projects from initial concept right through to product launch, you must display a proactive and innovative approach in the development of products.

Taking responsibility for a number of dedicated retail accounts and specific branded projects, you will carry out idea generation prior to starting projects and translate brief including product costings, factory trials and artwork checking. You must maintain close contact with the NPD manager, sales team and the factory to ensure clear communication throughout the process.

Candidate:

– Degree in Food Science
– Experience in Food manufacturing environment
– Self motivated
– Be clear and concise with ideas
– Strong in customer facing roles.
– Innovative with excellent presentation skills
