Job Description

D R Newitt are partnered with an exciting start up in the renewable energy industry who are looking to expand their team. They provide solar installation services as well as battery storage installation to domestic & commercial properties.

Due to their recent growth they are looking for a Solar Electrician to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced electrician to join this increasingly important sector and work for an up and coming business in the industry.

Key responsibilities:

Deliver Solar PV & Battery storage installations, inclusive of all electrical requirements on projects.

Undertake general Electrical Installation works.

Electrical installation and commissioning of roof-mounted solar panel systems.

Working away for commercial installations will be required.

Good communication and social skills and be happy to work in a fast paced environment.

An understanding of health and safety on-site and the ability to work in line with our company Risk Assessment and Method Statement

Qualifications & Skills:

Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations or equivalent (Essential)

18th Edition 
(Essential)
2391 Test & Inspection (Essential)

Driving licence (Essential)

Experience of installing Solar PV systems (Preferred)

Experience of installing battery storage systems (Advantageous)
IPAF or working at heights equivalent (Advantageous)

Health & Safety or First Aid qualifications (Advantageous)
