Job Summary

The Trials Excellence Manager is responsible for implementing the global R&D strategy in the UK. The Manager is responsible for planning and execution of the activities on the trial site, ensure they are properly resourced and lead the team of technicians and assistants. He/she ensures that the trials team delivers a high quality work, in line with the objectives.

Key Responsibilites

Staff Management and Development: Guide staff in understanding their roles, monitor performance, and promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Trial and Project Management: Oversee local trials for product development, from planning and sowing to harvest, ensuring efficient data collection and secure crop management.
Technical Expertise: Manage breeding activities, including pollination and genotyping, with strict adherence to proprietary databases and protocols.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison with breeders, senior management, and external cooperators to ensure transparent communication, operational efficiency, and collaborative relationships.
Administration and Compliance: Handle budget planning, administrative tasks, and machinery maintenance, while ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, Environmental, and local regulatory standards
