Salary: £36,000 – £40,000
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4:30pm
Location: Onsite – Kent
Holidays: 25 days + bank

Our client is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of ingredients for the food, beverage and nutrition industries, they have seen major growth over the last few years and have a state-of-the-art facility.
Role Overview
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will ensure the efficient and accurate operation of our warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse and Inventory Manager, you will be a key player in executing the company strategy and maintaining high standards in all warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Inventory Management: Ensure the highest levels of inventory accuracy, support stock takes, and perform monthly stock reconciliations.
• Health and Safety: Prioritize the safety of all employees and visitors, making health and safety a key focus in all activities.
• Audit Preparation: Prepare thoroughly for customer and certification audits.
• Logistics Management: Manage delivery and collection schedules and oversee booking in processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify improvement areas and innovate or adjust existing work procedures and practices.
• Cross-Department Coordination: Plan and coordinate activities with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Quality Standards: Ensure adherence to quality standards in all warehouse operations.
• Data Management: Oversee data input on a bespoke stock system, including stock checking, order picking, and loading.
• Training & Development: Train and develop Warehouse Operatives to maintain a high-performing team.
• Waste Management: Manage site disposal and segregation options cost-effectively.
• Material Management: Optimize storage and rotation of raw materials to reduce external storage and disposal costs.
• Cycle Counts & Audits: Conduct and report on monthly cycle counts and audits.
• Booking Duties: Cover booking in duties and other responsibilities in the absence of Warehouse staff.
• Third-Party Coordination: Work with third-party warehouses on materials and packaging.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal rules and operating policies.
Core Competencies / Person Specifications
• Licenses: Current FLT license (Reach Truck and Counterbalance).
• Health & Safety: IOSH certification is desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role supervising a warehouse team.
