Position: Logistics Co-ordinator
Location: Somerset
Reports to: Despatch & Logistics Team Leader

About the Role:
We are a fast-growing food manufacturing company looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Supply Chain Team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a supply chain environment, particularly in logistics, hauliers, and customer coordination. You will be responsible for managing despatch operations, preparing paperwork, and liaising with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with customers and transport stakeholders to arrange deliveries and returns, ensuring compliance with procedures.

  • Prepare and maintain accurate despatch paperwork (both electronic and hard copy).

  • Oversee the daily despatch of products, working closely with customers, transport, and internal teams.

  • Manage third-party storage of raw materials to meet production requirements.

  • Ensure accurate management of contract-manufactured products.

  • Handle import/export documentation in line with international regulations.

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Strong internal and external customer relationship management skills.

  • Experience working with Sales, Production, and Quality Control teams.

  • SAP/SAP B1 experience is beneficial.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English (written and verbal).

  • Excellent time management and a flexible approach to work.

  • Full Right to Work in the UK and a clean driving licence.

  • Hours of Work: 40 hours per week - 9 – 5
