National Account Manager (Grocery Retail)
West midlands, Hybrid working – 3 days site, 2 days WFH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage your customer relationship in order to maintain sales and elevate growth.
- Identify and develop profitable new business with existing customers.
- Lead negotiations on all elements of pricing, terms, and promotions.
- Develop annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
- Promote and support new product launches.
- Manage all aspects of account management for your customer, including any administration.
Skills and Experience:
- Previous National Account management/Sales experience in an FMCG environment.
- Experience managing retail accounts; Such as Top 4 grocers and/or Coop, Ocado, Waitrose, M&S, Aldi, Lidl.
- Excellent communication skills, confident in building and maintaining relationships.
- Confident presentation skills.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft office including Excel, Powerpoint and word.
- Strong commercial acumen, keen eye for detail and meticulous.
- Can fit into a small team and demonstrate a team approach.
- Ability to make informed decisions at pace.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be willing to travel
£50k salary + £6k Car allowance + Bonus
