Job description
National Account Manager (Grocery Retail)
West midlands, Hybrid working – 3 days site, 2 days WFH.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage your customer relationship in order to maintain sales and elevate growth.
Identify and develop profitable new business with existing customers.
Lead negotiations on all elements of pricing, terms, and promotions.
Develop annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
Promote and support new product launches.
Manage all aspects of account management for your customer, including any administration.
Skills and Experience:
Previous National Account management/Sales experience in an FMCG environment.
Experience managing retail accounts; Such as Top 4 grocers and/or Coop, Ocado, Waitrose, M&S, Aldi, Lidl.
Excellent communication skills, confident in building and maintaining relationships.
Confident presentation skills.
Highly proficient with Microsoft office including Excel, Powerpoint and word.
Strong commercial acumen, keen eye for detail and meticulous.
Can fit into a small team and demonstrate a team approach.
Ability to make informed decisions at pace.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Must be willing to travel
£50k salary + £6k Car allowance + Bonus
