Quality Control Supervisor

Job description

I am working with a well-established food manufacturing business in Greater London that specializes in high-quality high care products. My client is currently seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to join their dedicated team on the night shift.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•Quality Control: Perform regular checks in the production area to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

•Defrosting & Sanitization: Maintain defrosting records and perform checks for high-risk products to ensure proper sanitization.

•Product Weight Control: Ensure products meet the required weight specifications and maintain accurate documentation.

•Label Printing & Maintenance: Manage label printing, execute label changeovers, and maintain printer equipment.

•Compliance & Reporting: Monitor compliance with GMPs and SOPs, and report any food safety concerns to the QA team.

 

About You:

•Previous experience in quality control or food production, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.

•A solid understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP or equivalent certification is a plus).

•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

•Flexibility to work the designated night shift and adapt to changing production demands.
