Specifications Team Manager - Fully Remote

Partnering with a client who is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Specifications Manager to join our team. In this fully remote position, you will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining product specifications across various projects and teams. This is a key role to ensure that product development processes run smoothly and meet the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed product specifications documents throughout the lifecycle of a project.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, engineering, marketing, and quality assurance) to gather and clarify requirements for new products or features.

  • Ensure that all specifications align with industry standards, company objectives, and customer needs.

  • Review and update specifications based on feedback from stakeholders, customer requirements, and market trends.

  • Act as a liaison between teams, ensuring that all parties have access to accurate and up-to-date specifications.

  • Conduct thorough audits of product specifications to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards.

  • Provide guidance and support to the product development teams in interpreting and applying specifications.

  • Continuously improve the specification management process for greater efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

  • Create and maintain a system for tracking version control and updates of specifications documents.

  • Assist in training team members on best practices for creating, managing, and using product specifications.
