Job description
If you are looking for a Business Development / Sales role in FMCG, and wish to work for a well-established player in the Food Packaging space with a key combination of both success and a privately owned, family feel then this will interest you... Specifically, the business provides flexible packaging for the biggest Food Manufacturing Conglomerates in the country. It is widely-renowned for what it does, and provides a huge breadth of products within Flexibles. The right fit for the role will be able to bring a genuine enthusiasm for old-school sales; spending time out on the road winning new business.
Ideally, you will bring a Sales energy with good negotiating skills in a role which will be dominated by winning new business as well as relationship maintenance in reference to the Account Management piece. The perfect candidate will bring experience of selling packaging (ideally Flexibles) into the Fresh Produce space, as the business is looking to expand its customer base into this sector within the United Kingdom.
Structure-wise, you will get the opportunity to step into a newly-created role within the Commercial function, working closely with a team of National Account Managers, and another BDM who will be more account-focused.
Role Details:
- £40k-£65k ("step up" and established options)
- Company Car (Hybrid or Electric Available) or Car Allowance of £6,000
- Hybrid Conditions progressing to Remote based on trust
