Job Title: Electrical Test Technician

Location: Leicestershire 

Salary: Circa £30,000

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all electrical products, including bespoke items, meet UK and EU safety standards.
• Evaluate products against general safety regulations and industry standards.
• Research and recommend testing protocols for various product categories to ensure legislative compliance.
• Create and maintain technical files for all products, ensuring the safety and compliance of imported goods.
• Review and approve product artworks, instruction manuals, and rating labels, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
• Liaise with external departments
• Investigate and resolve issues related to customer complaints, external queries, and out-of-specification products.

• Experience testing of electrical appliances  
• In-depth knowledge of UK/EU standards and regulations for electrical appliances
• A electrical based degree or equivalent qualification/experience
