NPD Product Technologist
Reporting to: Production Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive NPD Technologist to support the successful delivery of new products from concept to launch. This is a key role within a thriving artisan bakery, who have been in operations for over 40 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research into market-specific standards for new product categories
• Develop and communicate clear testing plans, including compliance steps and required registrations
• Manage product trials and ensure suppliers are aligned with specifications and expectations
• Review formulations, packaging, labelling, and artwork for accuracy and compliance
• Liaise with authorities and stay up to date on relevant legislation, attending training as required
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to support quality assurance and timely product delivery
• Identify and resolve challenges during the NPD process, working closely with the bakery team.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar technical, NPD, or compliance-focused role
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
