NPD Technologist

Are you full of creativity and driven by a passion for food innovation? We’re looking for a New Product Development Technologist to join a dynamic team where great ideas are transformed into exceptional products. You’ll play a key role in developing new concepts from idea to launch, ensuring they meet customer expectations and quality standards.

What You'll Do:
• Develop exciting, trend-led products in response to customer briefs.
• Lead products through the full concept-to-launch process, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Document recipes, methods, and costings clearly and accurately.
• Coordinate product samples, testing, and packaging for timely submissions.
• Support production trials and help ensure smooth product launches.
• Conduct competitor benchmarking and monitor market trends to inform development.

What We’re Looking For:
• A passion for food and an eye for innovation.
• Experience in product development and an understanding of the development process.
• Highly organised with great communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic food safety training; a driving license is a plus.
• A proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment

Salary: £28-36k (depending on experience)
