A leading importer and distributor of food & drink into the UK is seeking a Planning Executive to support its production planning and supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee production processes at a co-packing facility, ensuring smooth operations, timely delivery, and adherence to high-quality standards.
Develop and implement production schedules to meet manufacturing targets efficiently.
Conduct detailed demand forecasting and analysis to determine required production volumes and material needs.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to align production with business objectives.
Manage relationships with outsourced production partners, ensuring clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.
Oversee the management of raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory.
Continuously analyse and optimise production and supply chain processes to drive efficiency improvements.
Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance within the team.
Provide regular reports to senior management on production performance, supply chain metrics, and demand planning forecasts.
Familiarity with Japanese culture would be considered an advantage.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in supply chain, production planning, and demand forecasting from Food & Drink sector
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and optimise processes.
Advanced Excel, ERP systems (SAP), or planning software.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
