Circa £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Responsibilities:

Management of stock purchased.
Direct liaising with suppliers
Travel to suppliers
Ensure quality & service are upheld
End to End Sourcing of livestock
Closely working with wider supply chain function
Upkeep of OTIF
Supplier reviews
Involved in Welfare & Sustainability policies
Welfare & Sustainability policies
Work to regulatory, ethical & environmental standards and company and customer requirements.
Market trends and data analytics
Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to ensure contracts are aligned with regulatory standards, company policies, and customer requirements.
Source, onboard and maintain suppliers that meet quality, sustainability, and compliance requirements.
Implement cost-saving initiatives when possible.
Identify and assess potential risks within supply chain.
Maintain a risk management structure to ensure continuous of supply.

Requirements:

Livestock - Trading/Procurement/Buying/Purchasing/Commercial experience with the food industry.
