Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HACCP and BRC standards and a proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with HACCP and BRC standards
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and best practices in quality assurance
  • Oversee and manage the quality assurance team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the highest level of quality in products
  • Drive the corrective and preventive action (CAPA) process to address non-conformities and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
  • Communicate and collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the supply chain

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, quality management, or related field
  • Certified in HACCP and BRC standards
  • Proven experience in a quality assurance management role, preferably in the food industry
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality management systems
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on continuous improvement

Day-to-day

  • Reviewing and updating quality assurance documentation and procedures
  • Leading and participating in quality and safety meetings
  • Conducting regular inspections and audits of production processes and facilities
  • Collaborating with production and procurement teams to address quality issues
  • Training and developing quality assurance team members
