Job Role: Shift Manager

Reporting to: Factory Production Manager

Our client are a state of the art poultry site who have been in operations for over 10 years and are looking to add a motivated Shift Manager to their already thriving team. You will be responsible for delivering performance across the Factory, ensuring KPIs are met and maintaining high standards across the site.

Responsibilities

Production Efficiency: Drive improvements in output, quality, yield, and resource utilization while maintaining cost control.
Planning & Execution: Oversee peak production plans, optimize labour, and ensure all production targets are met.
Quality & Food Safety: Maintain technical KPIs, lead audits, and champion a strong food safety and quality culture.
People Management: Train, develop, and motivate the team while managing performance, attendance, and HR-related matters.
Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with H&S policies, drive a strong safety culture, and manage risk assessments.
Continuous Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing techniques and drive operational excellence.
Environmental & Compliance: Optimize energy usage and ensure all environmental responsibilities are met.
