Solicitor – Real Estate & Renewable Energy

The Opportunity

Our client is a leading renewable energy developer driving the transition to a zero-carbon future. With a strong pipeline of ground-mounted solar farms and commercial rooftop solar projects, they are growing rapidly and seeking a Solicitor to join their legal team.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work on complex real estate and renewable energy transactions, playing a key part in securing land and navigating regulatory frameworks to support the development of large-scale solar projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Real Estate Transactions – Handle property acquisitions, leases, sales, and financing for renewable energy projects.

  • Legal & Regulatory Compliance – Advise on land use, planning, and environmental regulations.

  • Contract Negotiation – Draft and negotiate PPAs, joint ventures, and development agreements.

  • Due Diligence – Conduct title investigations, land registration reviews, and risk assessments.

  • Stakeholder Engagement – Work closely with DNOs, landowners, and local authorities to facilitate project development.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in real estate law and renewable energy projects.

  • Strong understanding of land acquisition, leases, and energy infrastructure.

  • Commercially minded, with a solutions-focused approach to legal challenges.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

  • A passion for sustainability and commitment to clean energy.
