Job Title: Administrator – Stock Control Team

Location: Essex
Department: Supply Chain 
Reports to: Planning manager

Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 (DOE)

A leading food manufacturer committed to delivering high-quality products. We're looking for an organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join our Stock Control Team and support efficient inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in monitoring and updating stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Support inventory audits and perform stock reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and generate reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement orders and track deliveries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure stock is available for production.
  • Ensure all stock is stored and handled in compliance with food safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a warehouse or stock control environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic experience with inventory management systems.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP) is a plus.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
