Job Title: Supplier Quality Manager
Salary: £45,000-55,000

We’re hiring a Supplier Assurance Manager to join a dynamic Technical team in a high-profile organisation. You’ll work to ensure suppliers meet the highest standards while fostering continuous improvement across the supply chain.
About the Role
As a Supply Assurance Manager, you’ll:
Assess and approve food suppliers, maintaining compliance with rigorous standards.
Conduct supplier audits, risk assessments, and performance evaluations.
Drive supplier improvement initiatives and manage corrective actions.
Build strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration.
Partner with procurement to elevate the supply base and deliver value.
Support issue resolution, factory audits, and ongoing supplier assurance processes.
What You’ll Need
Essential:
Food-related qualification or relevant industry experience.
Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., BRCGS, legislation).
Proven auditing and risk assessment skills.
Strong communication and influencing abilities.
Proficiency with Office 365 and systems like Foods Connected.
Willingness to travel for supplier visits and audits.
Desirable:
HACCP Level 4 or VACCP experience.
Background working with external bodies (auditors, suppliers, customers).
Broader experience across food industry categories.
