Capital Projects Manager

Are you a skilled and experienced Engineering Capital Projects Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in a world renowned food manufacturer? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join the team and lead an engineering projects department. As an Engineering Projects Manager, you will play a key role in managing a talented team and overseeing crucial projects that contribute to the company's further growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management: Lead and oversee engineering projects from conception to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

• Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of skilled engineers and project professionals. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

• Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize project outcomes.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to internal stakeholders and clients. Foster positive relationships with clients and suppliers.

• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure projects stay within financial constraints.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (preferred)

• Proven experience in managing engineering projects in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food industry.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulations.

£60,000-£65,000

10% pension, up to 7.5% matched

8% annual bonus
