ROLE 

Reporting to the Operations Director you will have complete autonomy over production in what will be a fairly hands-on environment. You will manage a team of production staff, including Engineering and Technical and you will be tasked with the successful management of KPIs both in terms of output as well as strategically. You will be part of the Senior Management team.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of factory operations, ensuring efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards.
  • Manage staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and processes to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise production schedules and meet customer demands effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of production metrics, inventory levels, and compliance documentation.
  • Implement and monitor site KPI’s.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the food production industry is essential.
  • Proven experience in inventory management.
  • Proven experience in CI Projects. 
  • Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for addressing equipment-related challenges.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

 

Hours of work:  Monday to Friday 8-4

Salary: up to £65,000
