Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday (Late Shift)

We're working with a market-leading manufacturing business looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of site operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, and inspiring a high-performance culture.

The Opportunity:

As Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of the site’s day-to-day and strategic operations—across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Safety, Customer Service, and Business Processes. You’ll play a critical role in shaping performance, building cross-functional relationships, and leading the team through growth and transformation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Leading all functional areas of the site, ensuring targets are met and exceeded across operations, safety, quality, service, and efficiency.
  • Delivering against financial and performance KPIs, driving operational effectiveness and cost control.
  • Embedding a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and streamlining site processes.
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, customers, and external partners to ensure a seamless, end-to-end operational flow.
  • Acting as a champion of the company’s values and culture, leading by example and motivating your teams to do the same.
  • Supporting recruitment, training, and retention strategies in partnership with HR and L&D.
  • Ensuring full compliance with legal, health & safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Coaching and developing your leadership team to enhance capability and performance.
  • Being a key voice in the cultural and leadership development of the site, with a strong focus on employee engagement and customer excellence.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in senior operations or site leadership roles, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong experience in change management and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • A proven track record in operational planning and driving improvements that deliver measurable results.
  • Confidence working with data and insights to support decision-making and performance tracking.
  • A hands-on, action-oriented leadership style with a focus on execution and getting results.
  • Experience in managing performance, setting goals, addressing under-performance, and supporting team development.
  • Exceptional communicationproblem-solving, and time management skills.
