Production Planner 

Global Food Manufacturer - Food Processing Site 

Site based role in Greater Manchester, Nr Oldham 

Later shift; starting at 10.30 or 11am, Mon- to Fri with occasional weekend overtime 

Salary £35,000 to £40,000 (depending upon your experience)

The Role 

This role will see you; 

Design and implement production plans and schedules for a busy and ever-changing production operations. 

Manage standard operating procedures to ensure correct & timely completion of customer orders. 

Create work order plan for distribution. 

Work to reduce lead times, increase productivity and maximise output. 

Ensure correct labour, machine capacity and materials are in place….. 

Your Skills/ Experience 

To be considered for this position you will need; 

Previous production planning experience from Fresh food manufacturing, the ideal candidate will come from chilled, meat or “food to go”. 

Advanced Excel and MRP & ERP knowledge (ideally SAP) 

The ability to prioritise in a fast paced and changing environment. 

Advanced problem-solving skills 

Analytical by nature with strong data management
