Energy & Sustainability Engineer -

Are you a passionate and experienced energy professional with a proven track record of delivering impactful energy conservation initiatives? Do you thrive in a hands-on environment and possess the ability to influence and inspire others? If so, this could be the role for you.

As a key member of the team you will be responsible for developing and implementing energy reduction strategies, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and championing a culture of energy awareness across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the site's energy reduction roadmap, aligning with the site's strategic sustainability goals.
  • Ensure adherence to energy and carbon legislation.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement energy reduction strategies and policies.
  • Implement cost savings across the business.
  • Manage energy-related capital investment projects from conception to completion, collaborating closely with the Engineering team and external contractors.
  • Design and deliver engaging energy awareness programs for all site colleagues.
  • Monitor, record, and analyse energy data to identify opportunities for improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree/equivalent in Energy Management or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence stakeholders.
  • Project management experience is highly desirable.
